Fermentation Process
Sourdough's uniqueness comes from its fermentation process. We slow ferment our breads for 48 hours which breaks down sugars making them packed with health benefits and bursting with flavor

Sourdough Culture
Our starter is over 100 years old and borrowed from a family-run bakery in Germany. We maintain distinct cultures for gluten-free, whole wheat, and all- purpose flour, each with a unique character and flavor profile. Our cultures can cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences.

Greetings! I'm Akanksha, the artisan and founder at Cultured Artisanal Bakes, where we celebrate the art of sourdough.
My culinary journey started with a slice of sourdough pizza in England. The distinct sour flavour, simultaneously unique and familiar, captivated my senses. Fuelled by curiosity, I immersed myself in the science behind sourdoughs, conducting extensive research to discover their myriad health benefits. While travelling across Europe, I sampled sourdoughs and uncovered their secrets from family-run bakeries steeped in centuries-old tradition. When I returned to India, I left my corporate career to become a full-time baker.
